NEW LOCATION!

Hi Faith Family,

New Location:  Peace In Jesus has a new location:  5383 Franklin Road in Boise.  We are just down the road from our previous location.  It is the southeast corner of Franklin and Phillippi, across from Fred Meyer.

Well, you might have trouble even believing me at this point, but this new location comes with a story.  After an exhaustive property search, with walk-throughs of several properties, last week we decided on this property on Franklin; I asked the realtor to draw up the papers.  On Monday, our realtor called me to inform me that when he went to the owner's office to have the lease signed, the owner had just left and a strange man told him that the property (the one we inteded to lease) had been forclosed upon.  I know!  After all we had been through.

After several phone calls to the lawyer for the bank, the trustee signed the lease and so have we.  Just picked up the keys--they are still warm. Are you wondering what I was wondering?  Just what is God's will in all of this?  Jostled around from location to location over the past few weeks . . . I took a lesson from 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18:

Be joyful always

pray continually;

give thanks in all circumstances for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

The last verse is like a fore-arm shiver to the part of us that wants to throw a pity-party when times get rough.  All circumstances.  And so we are.

This Sunday, at Peace In Jesus, we will talk much more about going through challenges.  You are welcome to join us at our new location: 5383 Franklin Rd., corner of Phillippi and Franklin.  Regular schedule:  English Worship 9:30 a.m., Vietnamese Worship 10:30 a.m.  We are so thankful!

Prayer idea:  Please join us in giving thanks to our gracious Lord!

Have a great weekend!

--Pastor Dan
